  Dangers of Texting While Driving
Texting while driving is a controversial topic in current news.  There have been numerous cases across the nation where accidents, often involving serious bodily injury or even death, have allegedly been caused by drivers not paying attention--due to their texting!  Numerous jurdisdictions, including Florida, are contemplating outlawing texting while driving.  Texters need to stay aware of the current state of the law on this issue, as they may be facing legal problems in the near future.
Even if texting does not become illegal, it can lead to serious criminal traffic charges, such as reckless driving or worse, if an accident occurs while the driver is texting.  Due to the prominence of  this problem, law enforcement and state attorneys may become aggressive in prosecuting such cases, and representation by an experienced criminal defense attorney is recommended.
